Updates, Reminders, and Survey

Hello THA Familia!

Today was the second day of work packet and Chromebook pick up, and it was once again a very successful day. We had 103 Chromebooks checked out today, bringing us to a total of 324!  

We have just a handful of follow up items for your today:

Hot Spots

As you know, THA is working hard to acquire enough hotspots for families who do not have internet access. Hotspots are intended for school use only and should be a last resort for families who are unable to get internet service otherwise. In order to help us estimate the number of devices needed, please complete this survey by midnight on Sunday if you need to checkout a hotspot from THA. (Remember, please ONLY fill the survey if you NEED a hotspot).

Please only complete once per family.

Monday Hours

Some families indicated that they were unable to pick up their work packet, Chromebook, or medication during the allotted hours. Additionally, some have reached out indicating that the Chromebook they check out might be faulty. To address these concerns, we are extending pick up for half a day on Monday.

• From 12-5pm on Monday, March 30, families who have questions about a device that may not be working may bring it up to the school to swap out or troubleshoot.  Additionally, families who have not yet checked out a Chromebook may come during this time.  This will be the final Chromebook checkout time.
• In order to ensure families have the support they need while also adhering with health-related guidelines, we are only checking out Chromebooks, packets, and medicine during this time.  If you have additional questions, please call the MS office at (918) 833 – 9420 or the HS office at (918) 438 - 7204. Even though the offices will be closed, our front office staff will have calls directed to them, and they will be answering the phones during this time.

Monday, 3/30 – Friday, 4/3

Just a reminder that next week we will be offering google classroom lessons as an educational resource. The classes are not for a grade and are all review. We strongly encourage all scholars to participate in these classes because the review will help our scholars ease back into the materials and so that they are ready to jump into new content immediately starting on Monday April 6. If you have questions, please reach out to your teachers or advisors directly.

Hoy fue el segundo dia de recolección de paquetes de trabajo y Chromebooks, y nuevamente fue un dia muy exitoso. ¡hemos repartido 103 Chromebooks hoy, lo cual nos lleva a un total de 324!

Tenemos pocos anuncios para hoy:

Hot Spots

THA está trabajando duro para poder adquirir suficientes hotspots para las familias que no tienen acceso de internet. Los hotspots son intencionados para uso de escuela, y deben ser el último recurso para familias quienes no pueden obtener servicio de internet. En orden para ayudarnos en estimar el número de aparatos necesarios, favor de completar esta encuesta antes de la media noche del domingo si usted necesita un hotspot prestado de THA. (Recuerde, favor de llenar esta encuesta SOLO si NECESITA un hotspot.)

Favor de completar solo una por familia.  

Horario de Lunes

Algunas familias indicaron que no pudieron recoger su paquete de trabajo, Chromebook, o medicamento durante las horas asignadas. Además, algunos de han comunicado para indicar que el Chromebook que les prestamos podría esta defectuoso. Para abordar estas inquietudes, vamos a extender la recogida por medio día el lunes.

• De 12:00 – 4:30 pm el lunes, 30 de marzo, las familias que tienen preguntas sobre un dispositivo que tal vez no funciones, pueden llevarlo a la escuela para cambiarlo o encontrar la solución. Además, las familias que aún no han retirado un Chromebook pueden venir durante este tiempo. Esta será la hora final de renta de Chromebook.
• Para garantizar que las familias tengan el apoyo que necesitan y al mismo tiempo cumplir con las directivas de salud, solo estaremos repartiendo Chromebooks, paquetes de trabajo, y medicamentos durante este tiempo. Si tienen preguntas adicionales, llame a la oficina de la secundaria al (918) 833 – 9420 o a la oficina de la preparatoria al (918) 438 – 7204. A pesar de que las oficinas estarán cerradas, nuestro personal de recepción recibirá llamadas dirigidas a ellas y responderán los teléfonos durante este tiempo.

Les quiero recordar que la próxima semana estaremos ofreciendo lecciones electrónicas por medio de Google Classroom como recurso educativo. Las clases no son para una calificación y son todas son un repaso de contenido previo. Les recomendamos a todos los alumnos que participen en estas clases porque el repaso les ayudara a los alumnos volver a sus estudios y que estén listos para nuevo contenido inmediatamente el lunes 6 de abril. Si tienen algunas preguntas, comuníquese con su maestro/a directamente.
